Fine Art Finishing
StarMark Imaging believes that attention to detail is what sets a quality image print apart from its competitors. We offer a full range of finishing services to enhance your images. Add a spray coating to protect your image from UV rays. Or add an acrylic brush stroke finish to elevate the image to art. Mounting can be done on a variety of surfaces from artboard to handcut canvas to masonite.
Surface Coatings
UV Spray: photograph is sprayed to create a beautiful finish which provides UV protection. Sprays are available in gloss, semi-gloss, and matte finishes.
Artboard is a heavyweight dry mounting system.
Gator Foam Much stronger than foamcore, but about the same weight. Rigid polystyrene foamcore laminated between two face veneers of resin-impregnated wood fiber for use in displays, photo mounting, and much more. Provides an ideal combination of minimal weight and high load capacity.
Masonite is 1/8th-inch thick hardboard traditional mounting surface.
Canvas Mounts
Panel - Image is printed on our Kodak professional paper. The resin coated backing is then peeled off and the image is embedded onto the canvas.
Canvas Masonite: Image is printed, embedded onto canvas, and then this is mounted on 1/8th-inch masonite.
Stretched: Image is printed, embedded onto canvas, which is stretched over a frame, ready for professional framing.
